Local businesses are the backbone of our economy.

They’re where we work, where we meet; the heart and soul of our communities.

Canadians expect their government to stand up for these local businesses. But Justin Trudeau’s Liberals are planning huge new tax hikes that will hit these local businesses when they can least afford it.

The Liberals keep denying they’re moving ahead with new taxes, like taxes aimed at employee benefits or retirement funds for local business operators. But there’s no reason to believe them. A Liberal government that taxes everything from Uber to beer to textbooks can’t be trusted to keep their word when they say they won’t raise taxes.

They don’t care about the consequences for anyone, neither local businesses nor everyday families. Conservatives believe that local businesses and the Canadians who depend on them deserve respect from their government.

That’s why we’re fighting these Liberal tax hikes every step of the way.
And we’re asking Canadians to join us.
